“Hey, Tom! Watch out!”, Noa screamed protecting his glass of water. Tom was engrossed in his phone and was about to ram into Noa who was at the drinking water station. Tom apologized, kept his phone aside and the two headed to their desks. “What were you so engrossed in, Tom? Are you too addicted to a certain 60-second content app”, nudged Noa playfully. Tom laughed and answered, “My parents are at a Holiday Resort currently, having a pre-Christmas vacation. They shall be leaving for my place, tomorrow. So was just sharing turn-by-turn driving directions with them. I get tensed when they travel by road, so just made sure that their lunch and coffee places along the route are fixed and their travel is sorted.” “Woah! That sounds super planned. Let me guess, you used Maplytics, our friendly geo-mapping app again?” asked Noa. “Absolutely! I checked out restaurants and cafes of interest, along their travel route, selected the good ones, and plotted the most optimized route with travel directions. Now, all of us have proper directions on our phones.”, confirmed Tom.
As Tom and Noa reached their desks, they saw Tisha already there, waiting for them. At the sight of Tom, Tisha jumped up and said, “I was hoping you would reach early before we all begin our day. Remember the last time you taught us the use of Maplytics for Christmas prep, I’d mentioned traveling. Well, my husband and I and 3 other couples of our family have decided to take a short road trip around Boston post-Christmas. The car rental company you plotted on the map the last time, we are in talks with them. Noa and Tom looked excitedly at her and Tom gushed happily, “Well of course Tish, I know how badly you are craving this vacation. Let’s get to business.” Saying this, they huddled at Tom’s system, Tom selected a location near Boston as the place of interest and plotted all the nearby resorts. All the resort records available in their Dynamics 365 CRM appeared on the screen along with their details, websites, etc. They checked through them all and Tisha finalized one.
After a few minutes, multiple calls, and online payments, Tisha and her family were set for the vacation! “Turns out, one of my brothers-in-law is a Dynamics user. He works in Valencia and can make arrangements to get a Maplytics license from his company. Will he be able to access Maplytics in Spanish?”, Tisha questioned. “Yes definitely! As the trio was settling in, Tom got a mail from the Manager again. This time informing the arrival of their CMO for the Old Age Home and the Orphanage meeting. His arrival timings and date were given and Tom was asked to check out hotel reservations for him. As the CMO was expecting to stay near the office as he had a meeting planned with a star client on one of these days, Tom plotted the hotels around the office, checked availability during the holiday season, and shared the available options with the Manager. He also added an optimized route with turn-by-turn navigation from the Airport to the hotels nearest to the office for convenience.
Having done the changes, Tom beamed. He proudly said, “I use Maplytics for the company, every day and it adds to our productivity and growth.
