Nina and Lisa were chilling at Nina’s house on a Weekend. Over the last few weeks, Nina had educated Lisa about Maplytics, the 5-star rated geo-mapping app of the Microsoft AppSource and Lisa had convinced her management to buy it for their organization with foolproof documentation and presentation. “I owe this free weekend to you. Had you not introduced me to Maplytics and helped me understand it so well, I would still be completing my unfinished workload over the weekend!”, chirped Lisa while lounging on Nina’s chairs. “Ah! De Nada! That’s what friends are for. Besides, if work-life balance can be gained using an app, I’ll promote it from my apartment rooftop!”, laughed Nina.
This was true, Maplytics, for more than a decade had balanced the workload for employees at several organizations across industries. It established more optimization in the life of field reps, reduced their travel time and costs, and enhanced overall productivity.
“It is almost 5:30 pm, let’s watch a movie then, we can go out for dinner with the other gang”, Lisa suggested. Nina got up from her slump and dashed at the name of a movie. “Let’s watch Avengers: End Game”, they both screamed together. It was evident that it was their favorite movie.
Half of the movie in, Nina paused and headed to fix them some berry smoothie. When she returned from the kitchen, she found Lisa staring at the ceiling with a smile. “What is running in that little head of yours now?”, Nina quizzed.
“If Maplytics is the End Game, its features are the Avengers”, Lisa let out dreamily. “What?”, Nina squeaked unbelievably. “How and why on earth is Maplytics the End Game?”, she asked. “Of course, it is! It has been the ultimate application for Field Sales Reps like me and my colleagues for the past few weeks. We have seen in Maplytics’ Field Service Series how it is the ultimate add-on to Dynamics 365 Field Service. I speak with experience, Nina!”, Lisa advocated.
“In that case, my favorite Hulk is Territory Management! He is huge and small at the same time, just like a territory that can be big, country-wise, or small, postal-code-wise. Besides, a huge region can be divided into smaller territories for better management, just like Hulk can become small again for the betterment of humanity. Interesting, eh?”, Nina concluded.
“O Yes of course. So relatable. Tony Stark or Ironman is Auto Scheduling in the universe of Maplytics. Auto Scheduling is all about planning a meeting for a day/week, pre-scheduling the meeting slots, buffer time, lunch breaks, travel time, et al. Mr. Stark is always well-planned and ahead of time”, Lisa added. “This quality makes organization and management streamlined and easy”, Nina agreed.
“Who do you think is Route Optimization then?”, Lisa quizzed. “The one who catches up with the evil with his sticky web, Spiderman. Optimized Routing is all about plotting travel routes that are traffic-free, highway-free, toll-free, and shortest in terms of travel time or travel distance. Spiderman and his path of webs follow all of it. His webs take him everywhere quickly and save fuel and travel time. How productive both are and think about nature. The webs stay intact even when Spiderman has left, and so do our routes, which can be reused, emailed, printed, etc.”, rejoiced Nina with realization.
“This sounds so cool! I know you aren’t a fan of Hawkeye, but buddy, he is Radius/ Proximity Search. The way he hits his target every time, right in the center, only Radius Search can top it. Every time we field reps need to find clients around us at a specific distance or travel time, we set our central location, provide our radius and boom, Maplytics gets us target clients within the proximity. It is the same with Hawkeye, he spots the need, sets his target, and swoosh bullseye!”, animated Lisa.
“Yeah! That is impressive. I’ve to give it to him. You know but Thor and his hammer represent Real-time tracking. It is so obvious. He could be anywhere in the world and recall his hammer. Similarly, a field rep could be anywhere in the field, on his plotted route, or outside it but could be tracked by his manager for an ad hoc request or some emergency! It is a blessing to have help at every move!” reasoned Nina.
“True! Thor and his hammer are a savior. Nina, can Captain America be Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM then? He is a protector, he binds all, everybody stays together as a team with his efforts, and he commands respect and power. So, like #MSDyn365. Without Dynamics 365, Maplytics cannot exist, so, if the endgame cannot exist, cannot its Avengers. Dynamics 365 CRM is like the nucleus of the Universe of Maplytics”, Lisa added thoughtfully.
“This impromptu game was so much fun. While we were doing this with Avengers, I thought of many movie titles too for Maplytics and its features. ‘Gone with the Wind’ could be Route Planner as well. Just like ‘I See You’ could be Real Time Tracking”, said Nina playfully. “O yes! Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory and Monica from Friends could be our beloved Meeting Schedulers”, Lisa extended. “Joey from Friends could be POI Location as he is always in search of food and acting auditions”, laughed Nina. The fun chatter continued all night!
