Truck Routing

Maplytics integrates Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM with Maps and presents a set of uniquely defined features. Truck Routing is one such feature that plans a route for the trucks transporting goods. The feature makes a note of the truck that is traveling. The details of the truck/trailer etc. such as truck type, axles, dimension unit, length, height, etc. are all registered.

The type of material that is carried by the truck is also taken note of. There could be goods that are Combustible, Corrosive, Explosive, Flammable, Flammable Solids, Gas, Goods Harmful to Water, Organic, Poison, Poisonous Inhalation, Radioactive, etc.

The routes plotted for the trucks are optimized. They avoid traffic, highways, tolls, etc., and provide the shortest travel route in terms of travel time or distance. This helps drivers in being on track and on time. The perishable fruits and vegetables can reach on time, the vaccines and medicines are available for emergencies, weapons and ammunition are safely delivered at the war site, and so on.

Real-Time Tracking of Drivers in Freight

During their voyage, the trailers often face technical issues and require assistance. Help is not always available nearby. With the Real-Time Tracking feature of Maplytics, the trailer drivers can be traced at all times during their journey. Help can be sent, assistance can be arranged from nearby places, or the trailers and the drivers can be rescued from the spot in case of major emergencies.
