With the recent release of Dynamics 365 v9.0, we wanted to utilize the Unified Interface framework and the capabilities of this release opened up for mobile and tablet client. And we are happy to announce that your favorite, Maps Integration with Dynamics CRM – Maplytics, now works on Dynamics 365 v9.0 and the new app for mobile and tablet.
We have been getting many enquires around mobile capabilities and many sales and field reps wish to find nearby customers around the current GPS location of the mobile device as it is difficult to manually enter the current location on the small screens of mobile devices when they were on the field and sometimes most of them didn’t even know the exact address!
With this release, Maplytics simplifies the process of finding the user’s current location (GPS location). Now users just need to click the current location button, and Maplytics will locate the current GPS location of the user and allow them to perform Radius Search right on their mobile devices!
Accessing Maplytics on a mobile device is an incredibly simple process you don’t need to download or install any other app. Maplytics works from within native Dynamics 365 App for Phones and Tablets. All the user needs to do is add Maplytics Dashboards to their existing App on the Dynamics 365 UCI framework.
Note: Please ensure the following points for the GPS functionality to work:
- Provide ‘Location’ permission to Dynamics 365 App in phone/tablet device
- GPS location is turned ON of respective devices
- ‘User Content and Location’ is tuned ON in Dynamics 365 App
